During our recent stay at Solvgarden Cottages, we opted for apartment number 14, which turned out to be a cozy base for our family adventures. This one-bedroom cottage boasts a lovely patio that captures the afternoon sun, allowing us to unwind while overlooking the playground and the serene river. One aspect I appreciated was the thoughtful layout of the cabins; despite being in a bustling area during high season, it felt surprisingly private. The living room offered a perfect view of the mountains-a fantastic backdrop for relaxation after a day of hiking or canoeing. The amenities included a flat-screen TV and good-quality furniture, but I should mention that the bathroom is rather low, which might not suit taller guests. The kitchenette, stocked with cookware, made meal prep convenient, and we enjoyed dining at the on-site restaurant, which had a decent children's menu. I found the free parking and Wi-Fi a practical touch. While prices lean towards the mid-range, families will find exceptional value for the accessibility to activities like fishing and beach access. Solvgarden provides a well-rounded experience for active travellers-ideal for budget-conscious families looking to enjoy the great outdoors.
